Terms of Service
Effective August 24, 2026
Wera provides fitness information and automated training recommendations. It is not medical care, and no training plan can eliminate the risks of exercise.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and the operator of Wera (“Wera,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to the Wera application, website, training plans, Body Score, adaptations, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, selecting “I agree,” or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Wera.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Information you provide must be accurate and current. You are responsible for safeguarding your password, your device, and activity under your account. Email team@wera.run if you believe your account has been compromised.
Wera is designed for individual, personal, non-commercial use. You may not transfer your account or use another person’s wearable or health information as your own.
3. What Wera provides
Wera uses information you provide and, when authorized, information from Apple Health, Garmin, COROS, Amazfit/Zepp, and related services to generate a running plan, calculate fitness and recovery indicators, and adapt training. Body Score, paces, load estimates, and plan changes are automated estimates. They may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate when wearable data is missing, inaccurate, not synced, or affected by device or provider limitations.
We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Training recommendations may change as new information arrives. Wera does not promise a particular race result, fitness improvement, injury outcome, or continuous availability.
4. Memberships, billing, and offer codes
Access to paid Wera features requires an Apple in-app purchase. The standard options are auto-renewable memberships; the United States launch prices are $11.99 per month and $99.99 per year. Wera may also issue limited Apple offer codes for a non-consumable lifetime unlock to selected beta testers. The product, price, currency, eligibility, and duration Apple displays before confirmation control your purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm a paid transaction.
Your membership renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Deleting Wera does not cancel an Apple subscription, and cancelling does not itself delete your Wera account.
Introductory offers and beta-tester offer codes may have separate eligibility, duration, and redemption limits shown by Apple. A lifetime code applies only to the Wera access associated with the redeemed non-consumable purchase; it does not promise that every current feature or third-party service will remain unchanged forever. Codes have no cash value and cannot be transferred or replaced except where required by law. Apple processes purchase, subscription billing, cancellation, and refund requests under its applicable terms and policies.
5. Health and safety
Wera is not a doctor, healthcare provider, medical device, diagnostic service, or emergency service. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, or injury prevention. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional who knows your personal circumstances.
Exercise, running, strength training, heat exposure, and following a training plan involve risks, including overtraining, falls, dehydration, illness, serious injury, cardiac events, and death. You are responsible for deciding whether a workout is appropriate for you, using suitable equipment and conditions, and stopping when you experience pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, unusual shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or changing a program, particularly if you are pregnant, injured, taking medication, have a medical condition, have been advised to limit exercise, or have concerns about your health. For an emergency, contact local emergency services; do not rely on Wera.
6. Wearables, permissions, and data
You choose whether to connect supported health and wearable services. You authorize Wera and its service providers to access and process the categories of data you approve for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy. You can revoke device permissions in your operating-system settings, disconnect a provider where available, or delete your Wera account.
Third-party devices and services are controlled by their respective providers and may have separate terms and privacy practices. Wera is not responsible for their availability, measurements, outages, authorization decisions, or independent conduct.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, probe or bypass security controls, access another person’s data, upload malicious material, scrape or reverse engineer the Service except where law expressly permits it, use Wera to provide unlicensed medical services, or violate applicable law or another person’s rights.
8. Wera content and license
Wera and its software, designs, branding, training content, calculations, and other materials are owned by Wera or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, Wera gives you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own training.
You retain ownership of information you provide. You grant Wera the limited rights needed to host, process, reproduce, and display that information solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service as described in the Privacy Policy. Feedback and suggestions may be used to improve Wera without payment or obligation to you, but Wera will not publicly identify you without permission.
9. Suspension and account deletion
You may delete your account from Settings. Deletion is permanent and removes your account and associated active Wera data, subject only to limited copies that a service provider must retain temporarily in protected backups or that law requires us to retain. Deletion also asks Terra to deauthenticate and delete its cached data for your Garmin, COROS, or Amazfit/Zepp connection. Device-source records held independently by Apple, Garmin, COROS, Zepp, or another provider are controlled by that provider.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service, investigate abuse, comply with law, or address a material breach of these Terms.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Wera disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so these limitations apply only to the extent legally permitted.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wera and its operator, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost opportunity, or personal training outcomes arising from the Service. Wera’s aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Wera during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other rights protected by applicable consumer law.
12. Your responsibility for misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful misuse of the Service, your violation of another person’s rights, or information you submit without authorization. This section does not require you to compensate Wera for Wera’s own negligence or misconduct.
13. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or safety practices. If a change is material, we will provide notice and request renewed acceptance where required before you continue using affected features. The version and effective date appear at the top.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable privacy law. Applicable law and courts with lawful jurisdiction govern disputes, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections where you live.
14. Contact
Wera’s official support contact is team@wera.run. Use this address for questions about these Terms.
These Terms are intended as a clear operational draft for Wera’s current product. They are not a substitute for review by counsel in the jurisdictions where Wera is offered.
